Mike was my line manager when I joined Parliament and made what was a daunting time a positive and thoroughly enjoyable one. Such a kind and honest man who was lots of fun to be around. We only worked for a relatively short period but I'm really glad that we did. My memories of his karaoke performances at the Chinese restaurant on the Horseferry Road will always make me smile. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family at this sad time. A true legend indeed!
